For over a decade we have invested in renewable energy systems to reduce the use of fossil fuels on the Estate. We believe climate change presents clear challenges to both rural and urban environments, and we are mindful of safeguarding the planet for future generations.
A new commercial biomass plant has been installed on the Estate to create economical and sustainable methods of drying agricultural and forestry produce. The state of the art Linka Energy 1.5mw biomass plant is fuelled with by-product from farming activity and woodland management. By incorporating our high capacity, purpose built drying floors, we offer year round commercial drying for a wide range of materials such as wood chip, wood shavings, kiln dried logs, paper pulp and many others. On site temperature controlled storage options are also readily available.
